Goodbye A.

Portland International Airport's Concourse A was in built 1988, and was known as a dated, dimly-lit, crowded space with low ceilings and stuffy air. Nonetheless, this scruffy corner of PDX dedicated to regional flights had a cult following. When it came time to replace Concourse A, it was clear it deserved a uniquely PDX goodbye.

The Port's talented digital team created storytelling platforms for passengers and employees to say "Goodbye to A" and get excited to say "Hello" to a bright, new Concourse B.

The Goodbye A campaign culminated in an event. Guests were invited to write messages on the wall, view a model of the new concourse, and enjoy tasty bites from its future concessionaires.
